Dutch violinist Daphne Oltheten began her instrumental studies at the age of three, with the renowned teacher Coosje Wijzenbeek. She graduated from the Royal Conservatory of The Hague, where she studied under Mireille van der Wart and Theodora Geraets, and later from the State University of Music and the Performing Arts Stuttgart, where she earned a master’s degree in Baroque violin, in 2015, under the guidance of violinist Christine Busch.


In addition to playing with the Dutch baroque music group, Apollo Ensemble, she also presents with renowned groups such as Bach Collegium Stuttgart, Stiftsbarock Stuttgart and Amsterdam Baroque Orchestra. For the American label Centaur, Daphne and her father recorded the three Duets for violin and bassoon by Niccolò Paganini.

For the Brazilian Label 'A Casa Discos', she recorded together with pianist Henrique Gomide the CD 'Diálogo'.
